Bioaktivitas Usnea barbata (L.) F.H. Wigg sebagai Insektisida Nabati Coptotermes curvignathus (Holmgren)

The subterranean termite Coptotermes curvignathus is a type of insect that damages wood until it porous and destroyed. Until now, termites are chemically controlled but negatively impact the environment, so bioinsecticides such as from Usnea barbata lichen needed. This study aims to determine bioactivity U extract. Barbata bioinsecticide for C. curvignathus. experiment used Completely Randomizd Design with 7 treatments (concentrations 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, Termicon) 3 replicates. extract was prepared 300 g powder, macerated in days 96% ethanol ratio 1:10 (300 g/3 L). Mortality feed weight loss were observed days. extracts contained alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, steroids, saponins, tannins. phytochemicals analyzed descriptively, lethal concentration value 50% (LC50) determined by probit analysis. Data on mortality percentage using ANOVA at 5% confidence level. If Fcalct > Ftable, Duncan's further test carried out. results showed tannins, saponins. indicated an LC 50-72 hours 19.32%. Statistically, U. affected did not differ significantly termites.
